Adekoye Ojurongbe appeals from the trial courts order denying his Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure Rule 3.850 motion to vacate judgment alleging the trial court failed to advise him of the deportation consequence of his 1989 plea. Based on State v. Green, 944 So. 2d 208 (Fla. 2006), we reverse and remand for proceedings consistent with this opinion. At the same time, we caution that Mr. Ojurongbes deportation status may still, after all is said and done, lie in the hands of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
